Who doesn’t love a good ranch? Am I right, or am I right?
Nothing is better than a good creamy ranch for salad or a crudité platter. We grew up on this stuff! I don’t know about you all, but the ranch I grew up on was Hidden Valley. Now, my mom did not buy the premade ranch, it was always the dry spice packet that we would mix in a Tupperware dressing container with milk and mayonnaise, basically homemade right?
Nowadays my idea of homemade ranch is a little more homemade. I still use premade mayonnaise, the Kewpie variety, because I think it tastes better. It gives all the MSG, umami-ness of what I remember from my childhood. This isn’t on the sweet side that’s not what I want in a ranch, my ranch is very dilly, herby, creamy, and tangy.
